The State Bank receives feedback from customers

(Chinhphu.vn) – Mr. Nguyen Van Hung (in Quang Nam Province) requested the competent agencies to consider and settle the bad debt update for the case of his loan in the system of the State Bank of Vietnam.

 

According to Mr. Hung, he has a loan at the Home Credit Co., Ltd (Home Credit). Every month he performs full payment on time and is paid VND 2,488,000.

In the 9th, he pays the amount of VND 2.488.000 but the system shows the amount is VND 2.487.999 (missing VND 1). The banking system reported that he was behind schedule and was bad debt group 3. Mr. Hai contacted the Home Creadit and proposed to review, but it has not yet processed.

Now he has a need to borrow a loan to do business but due to data on the system he enters into bad debt group 3, so he can not make a loan. Mr. Hung proposed competent agencies to consider and solve.

About the status of credit information:

After Mr. Nguyen Van Hung contacted to the Home Finance Co., Ltd as the content has been reflected, the Home Credit has sent a letter to the National Credit Information Center of the State Bank of Vietnam ( CIC).

Accordingly, the Home Credit asked CIC to adjust the overdue group data for the loaner Nguyen Van Hung on the "qualified" debt group due to the occurrence of late payment due to objective reasons from the system of Home Credit, not from customers, specifically as follows:

According to the Official Letter from the Home Credit, CIC has verified and adjusted the data for the loaner Nguyen Van Hung in accordance with the process of adjusting the data and also corrected the credit report of the loaner Nguyen Van Hung for Prudential Finance Co., Ltd (information search unit when Mr. Nguyen Van Hung needs loan).

Customers are free of charge for getting credit information

Pursuant to the provisions of the Circular No. 03/2013 / TT-NHNN dated January 28, 2013 on credit information activities of the State Bank of Vietnam, loaners have the right to exploit credit information about themselves at CIC, which is free once a year.

Where the loaner discovers that the credit information about himself is wrong, the loaner shall be entitled to lodge a complaint to the CIC, or the credit institution where the customer has a loan relationship, to request the verification or adjustment. information, but not to take advantage of false claims.

The complainant may choose one of the following forms of appeal:

- Submitted via CIC's electronic portal: The complainant uses an electronic account that has been issued by CIC to submit a complaint via the CIC Web Portal: https://cic.org.vn;

- Send by postal service;

- Direct appeal: The complainant directly addresses the CIC's office or CIC's branch in Ho Chi Minh City to file a complaint.
